Every language deserves to be understood by technology
Voice assistants, captions and call-centre bots work well in a handful of big languages. Hundreds of millions of people who speak Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi, Nagpuri, Chhattisgarhi and other languages are left out — because there is too little good data. LootBeez exists to change that, and to make sure the people whose voices build this technology are paid fairly for it.
What we do
LootBeez is a speech-data platform. Contributors sign up on their phone, pass a short training, and record sentences, commands or short talks in the language they speak at home. Every recording is checked automatically and by trained reviewers. Approved recordings are paid weekly by UPI, and are delivered — without personal identifiers — to companies and researchers building speech technology for Indian languages.
Our principles
Consent first. Nobody's voice is used without informed, recorded consent in a language they understand. Contributors can withdraw at any time.
Pay that is visible. Every project shows its rate before work begins. Every approval, bonus and payout — with its UPI reference — is itemised in the app.
No fees, no false promises. Joining is free and always will be. We never promise a fixed income, and we only offer work when a paying project is live.
Privacy by design. Customers receive audio with a pseudonymous ID and broad demographics only. Names, phone numbers, email addresses and UPI IDs never leave LootBeez.
Quality that customers can rely on. Training, automatic checks, human review and fraud detection mean the data we deliver is clean, diverse and traceable.
